As chief creative officer Dale provides strategic and creative direction on engagements ranging from redefining the brand of a global company to crafting sustainability communications for a Fortune 100 business, and everything in between. He is adept at storytelling and has a unique ability to produce design solutions that are simultaneously differentiating, highly effective and truly beautiful.
He is an inspired leader, he guides and mentors the design staff, and plays a critical role in building teams that have the kind of right-brain/left-brain skill sets required by our client base. He has a special focus in brand design, having led the Boeing One brand effort, and in corporate social responsibility communications for clients such as The Coca-Cola Company, Kraft Foods, Qualcomm and Gap Inc. Dale is a frequent speaker and presenter on brand and CSR communications and has judged many major award competitions.
Prior to joining Methodologie, Dale spent five years as the design director at Widmeyer Design and five years as a designer at NBBJ Architects and Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery. Dale is inspired by seeing smart and unexpected design solutions in everyday places; he sees the ingenuity of “anonymous design” as a reminder that design is not just for designers.
