Other Interests of Marianne’s
Watching my boy grow up
Twenty years of award-winning design and experience working with some of the world’s most well-known brands make Marianne well equipped for her role as a senior designer. She is prolific, with hundreds of annual reports to her credit and brand design from identity through signage; her skill set is both deep and wide. Most recently, she led the design of the rebrand of Seattle Children’s, West Monroe Partners and Red Lion Hotels. She is experienced in brand as well as CSR communications, in both print and online. She also oversees our Springboard design internship program.
Prior to working here, Marianne was the senior designer at Leimer Cross. She graduated cum laude from the University of Washington with a BFA degree in design. An active participant in the Seattle design community for years, Marianne has participated in Reality Check, giving design students and recent graduates the benefit of her vast experience. She is an expert in design and printing technique, fearless on press and an important mentor in our design internship program, Springboard. Her diligence, attention to detail and work ethic are beyond compare.
Away from work, Marianne loves to cook and try new foods. She admits that while most people eat to live, she is one who lives to eat. She has a most extraordinary collection of images on her screen saver that make her smile all day, mostly of chubby babies and dogs.
